BSI Student Enrichment Fund
The BSI Student Enrichment Fund is the way that the BSI community supports the school and the many programs that benefit all our students. Each year we ask BSI families and friends to contribute to this fund through direct donations.
We have two major enrichment fund goals:

100% community participation! We are in this community together. Every dollar we give helps fund programs that enrich the experience of all our children and support our BSI teachers and staff. High participation rates boost our appeal to grant-givers, whether from local government, corporate or private foundations: they like to see community support! Contributions made at events, including the Gala, are wonderful, but don’t count as part of the BSI Student Enrichment Fund

Raising enough money to pay for the extra staff and enrichments in every grade that help make BSI an exceptional, inquiry-based school. DOE funding pays only for core subjects-- it’s up to us to fundraise for the extra staff and enrichment activities that help make BSI so special.

Enrichment Fund FAQ
How much should I contribute?
We recognize and understand that every family’s circumstances are different. Our goal is to achieve 100% participation across all families no matter the amount. We also recognize our good fortune in having in our community those who are able to give the full suggested amount of $1,500 per student, per year in order to fund ongoing enrichments. To make donating more manageable, recurring donations in smaller amounts can be set up right here on our website!
With everyone’s support, we can secure another year with exceptional enrichment programs and teaching resources.
Are these donations tax deductible?
Your contributions are fully tax deductible. Our PTO is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) IRS Tax ID 27-1299073.
