BSI Auction Kickoff
Our 5th Annual Camp Auction goes live online in early March 2017. Soon after we’ll be celebrating our 8th Annual Gala and Silent Auction. We need your to help secure donations and make these auctions better than ever.
Asking for donations is easier than you think. Reach out (through email, in person, or on the phone) to your favorite camps, after-school and weekend classes, fitness studios, tutors, restaurants, local activities. We take museum memberships, membership passes, and tickets to special events, too! All of these donations are tax-deductible. Review Tips for Asking for Donations.
STEP 1: Put your name in the BSI Contact 2017 column on our Donation Grid then contact the company. New camps and companies are welcome. Add them to the grid.
STEP 2: Once you have confirmation of a donation either you or the company contact must input the auction items using our Online Donation Submission Form. This is where descriptions and restrictions (e.g. first time families only) are noted.
Think ahead. Companies love placing ads in our annual keepsake Gala Program. More info about ads here.
**Use the tabs at the bottom of the donation grid page to navigate between neighborhoods. Scroll all the way to the right to access pages for Camp Auction Sleepaway Camps and Camp Auction Day Camps. Camps are priority right now.**
Brooklyn School of Inquiry is a public NYC K-8 school with close to 600 families throughout Brooklyn and beyond. Our camp auction is promoted widely outside the school since it’s open to anyone. Our Gala is attended by hundreds of parents.
